MLKCC SPECIAL RECOGNITION / DRUM MAJOR NOMINATIONS
The
Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Committee of Brazoria County,(
MLKCC) is currently accepting nominations for the 2010 Drum Major
Award Nominees. Nominees can be submitted by any
Brazoria County resident to this committee.
This award is given to individuals who have demonstrated sacrificial service
and leadership in achieving
human dignity, racial equality, and racial harmony in
Brazoria County.
The Drum Major Award will be presented at the Annual MLK Commemorative
Celebration,
Sunday, January 17, 2010, at 5:30 p.m. The event will be held at
The Clarion at Brazosport
College in Clute, Texas.
